Actually, it's not that hard to see that I am a follower of Jesus and He is my motivation in life. I hope that if you don't know Him, you will be able to get acquainted with Jesus on this site.
I grew up on Sullivans Island, SC long before it was a resort and graduated from Wando High School in 1979. I spent some time at the University of South Carolina (GO COCKS!!), Charleston Southern University (when it was Baptist College), and Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. In 1986 I married Bill Gaither's daughter, Valerie Gaither, and we had two daughters, Alyson and Kirstyn.
I am currently living in Jamestown, NC and serve Lexington Avenue Baptist Church as the Senior Pastor. We have served churches in Central and Northern VA as well as on the Outer Banks (OBX ROX).
